David Goldstien

David M. Goldstein received his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 1974 in Child and Developmental Psychology.

From 1974 to 1976, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas in the Department of Pediatrics, where he redirected his career into Child Clinical Psychology.
In the following years, he has worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Bancroft Neurohealth, the University of Pennsylvania and Ancora Hospital.
For the past 18 years, David has been the Clinical Director at an adolescent residential center in New Jersey.

His general therapy approach has been based on the work of William T. Powers.
While David considers himself to be a generalist, he would identify trauma treatment, therapy with children and adolescents, stress and pain management as his specialty areas.
